Pairing with a device that plays back audio

Android smartphone, tablet

1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap Device connection.
3. Tap Pair new device.
4. Tap the audio device name.
   Note: Select the device name without LE_.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Bluetooth connection.

iPhone, iPad

1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap Bluetooth.
3. Touch the switch to turn on the Bluetooth function.
4. Tap the audio device name.
   Notes:
   • Select the device name without LE_.
   • If a Passkey is required, input 0000. A Passkey may be displayed as a Passcode, PIN code, PIN number, or Password.

Note: The device name with LE_ is used to operate the device from the BRAVIA Connect app. Do not disconnect it.

Supported operating systems: Windows 11, Windows 10
Note: Set the computer's speaker to unmute. If muted, the sound is also not output on the audio device.

Windows 11

1. Click the Start button, and then click Settings.
   
2. On the Bluetooth & devices tab, click the Bluetooth switch to turn on the Bluetooth function, and then click Add device.
   
3. Click Bluetooth.
4. Click the audio device name.
   Notes:
   • Select the device name without LE_.
   • If a Passkey is required, input 0000. A Passkey may be displayed as a Passcode, PIN code, PIN number, or Password. After the pairing is complete, the computer will automatically connect to the audio device, and Connected music or Connected voice, music will be displayed on the screen.
5. Click Done to close the screen.

Windows 10

1. Click the Start button, and then click Settings
2. Click Devices.
3. On the Bluetooth & other devices tab, click the Bluetooth switch to turn on the Bluetooth function, and then click Add Bluetooth or other device.
   
4. Click Bluetooth.
5. Click the audio device name.
   Notes:
   • Select the device name without LE_.
   • If a Passkey is required, input 0000. A Passkey may be displayed as a Passcode, PIN code, PIN number, or Password. After the pairing is complete, the computer will automatically connect to the audio device, and Connected music or Connected voice, music will be displayed on the screen.
6. Click Done to close the screen.

Supported operating systems: macOS Catalina (version 10.15)
Note: Set the Mac computer's speaker to unmute. If muted, the sound is also not output on the audio device.

1. Click System Preferences → Bluetooth in the taskbar on the right-bottom of the screen.
   
2. On the Bluetooth screen, click Pair to the right side of the audio device name.
   
   Note: Select the device name without LE_. After the pairing is complete, the computer will automatically connect to the audio device, and Connected will be displayed on the screen.
3. Click the Speaker icon in the top-right of the screen and select the audio device name from Output Device.

To listen to TV sound on the audio device, your TV must be compatible with the A2DP profile of Bluetooth.
For details about how to perform pairing on the TV, refer to the operating instructions of the TV.

1. Perform the pairing operation on the TV. The list of the Bluetooth devices that are detected by the TV appears on the TV screen.
2. Select the audio device name, and then press the Enter button.
3. On the Bluetooth pairing request screen, select Pair, and then press the Enter button. After a message that the Bluetooth connection is complete is displayed, the pairing is complete.
