How can I find files that I have received or downloaded on my smartphone?

How to locate a file you downloaded or received (Android 8 & upwards)
You can use the built-in file manager to locate, move, copy, rename or share files that you downloaded or received using Bluetooth.
- Find and tap Settings → Storage.
- If your device has an external SD card, tap Internal shared storage. If not, go directly to step 3.
- Find and tap Files.
- Tap Downloads.
Tip: Touch and hold a file to share it or tap the menu button (three vertical dots) to move, copy or rename it.
You can also download a file manager app from Google Play Store. Files received using Bluetooth are found in your file manager's Bluetooth folder.
How to locate you downloaded or received (Android 7)
- From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
- Find and tap Downloads.
- Drag the left edge of the screen to the right.
- Tap
> bluetooth.
