How can I find files that I have received or downloaded on my smartphone?

    How to locate a file you downloaded or received (Android 8 & upwards)

    You can use the built-in file manager to locate, move, copy, rename or share files that you downloaded or received using Bluetooth.

    1. Find and tap Settings → Storage.
    2. If your device has an external SD card, tap Internal shared storage. If not, go directly to step 3.
    3. Find and tap Files.
    4. Tap Downloads.

    Tip: Touch and hold a file to share it  or tap the menu button (three vertical dots) to move, copy or rename it.

    You can also download a file manager app from Google Play Store. Files received using Bluetooth are found in your file manager's Bluetooth folder.


    How to locate you downloaded or received (Android 7)

    1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
    2. Find and tap Downloads.
    3. Drag the left edge of the screen to the right.
    4. Tap  > bluetooth.

    Tip: Touch and hold a file to share  it, or tap the menu button (three vertical dots) to move, copy or rename it.
