Depending on the model and manufacturer of some of the components, a limited number of VGN-CS1, CS2 and CS3 Series models might develop horizontal lines at the upper or lower edge of the display, as shown in the examples below:
As part of our commitment to quality, for any customer who requires repair of their VAIO computer due to the above mentioned issue, Sony will cover the cost of this repair during the first 6 years following the date of purchase of the model in question. In such case, we invite you to contact VAIO Support to arrange service for your VAIO.
NOTE: The free repair service for VAIO Notebook Computer - VGN-CS2 and VGN-CS3 series will end on 31st March 2017.
