How to connect VAIO Win 8 to network speakers

Question

How to use the Network Speaker with a VAIO Computer using  "Music by Sony" application (For compatible VAIO models only).

Answer

Follow the below steps to connect the computer to the network speakers.

1. Open the start menu and select the application "Music by Sony".
            - Pre-installed on current VAIO's (Models from February 8th, 2013).
            - Free download from the store models for others models (Models from October 2012).

  

2. In this application, select your track.

       

3. Track starts playing in full screen mode, tap the throw icon in the top right corner (circle icon with a small box with a dot and arrow above it).

  

4. Select the player that you want to use. My VAIO is local playback and in this case the SONY SA-NS410 is showed up.
   This is automatically added to the throw list once it’s connected to the network, no configuration is needed.

  

5. Select the network speaker SONY  SA-NS410 as player, it connects and starts playing on the speaker with a small message on the VAIO.
