LinkBuds Clip (WF-LC900) | Cleaning your earbuds and charging case

To help maintain comfort and performance, we recommend cleaning your earbuds after each use.

Things to avoid when cleaning your earbuds:

    • Do not use sharp objects such as pins, toothpicks, or tweezers to clean the sound output holes. They may damage the mesh or internal parts.
    • Do not use compressed-air dusters or sprays to remove dust, as dust or debris may enter the microphone hole or sound output holes and cause malfunctions.
    • The charging case is not waterproof or water-resistant. Do not place the earbuds in the charging case or charge them while moisture, especially sweat, remains on them, as this may cause internal shorting or terminal corrosion.
    • Do not use wet tissues containing alcohol, thinner, benzine, or similar substances, as they may cause earbud malfunction or damage.
    • Liquid-related issues, including water exposure, are not covered by the warranty, and repair charges will apply.

    Aftercare steps

    1. Clean the sound output holes

If the sound is low or there is no sound, earwax or dirt may be blocking the sound output holes. Gently remove any buildup with a purified-water wet tissue or a soft brush, taking care not to push it further inside.

If water remains inside the sound output holes:

Point the sound output holes downward and lightly tap the earbuds on a dry cloth about 10 times to remove the water droplets.

    2. Clean the outside of the earbuds

You can wipe dust and dirt from the outside of the earbuds and the fitting support with a purified-water type wet tissue.

Wipe away any water droplets with a soft, dry cloth. In cold climates, water droplets left on the earbuds may freeze.

If water remains in the microphone hole or vent:

Point the microphone hole or vent downward and lightly tap the earbuds on a dry cloth about 10 times to remove the water droplets.

    3. Clean the charging case

If foreign objects or moisture, such as sweat, remain on the terminals of the earbuds or charging case, corrosion may occur and charging may not be possible.

After use, gently clean the terminals with a cotton swab or soft, dry cloth.

    4. Dry the earbuds thoroughly

After cleaning, let the earbuds dry completely at room temperature. Once dry, place them in the charging case and close the lid.
