Why can't I use 5G network on my Xperia 1 II dual sim device?

Why the notification of '5G Usage restriction' is appeared on my Xperia 1 II dual sim device? / Dual SIM cannot work with 5G.

    Solution

    You can use the 5G network by deactivating the secondary SIM. The usage of 5G network is restricted when two SIMs are activated in Xperia 1 II Dual SIM device. 

    To deactivate the secondary sim

    1. Find and tap Settings → Network & Internet → SIM cards → deactivate SIM 2.

     Tip: If you want to turn off the '5G usage notifications' on the device, long press the notification and then select "Turn off notifications"  or 

    1. Find and tap Settings →  Apps & notifications → Configure notifications → Phone Services → 5G usage notification → disable.
