How to uninstall an app from the Walkman player.

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.

IMPORTANT: Pre-installed apps cannot be uninstalled.

How to uninstall apps from the HOME screen

1. While holding down the icon of the app you want to uninstall on the HOME screen, move to the trashcan icon (Uninstall) at the top right of the screen and release your finger.
2. A confirmation message [Do you want to uninstall this app?] appears, select [OK].
3. When the message [Uninstallation is complete] is displayed, the app is uninstalled.

You can uninstall apps on the Apps screen as well.

How to uninstall apps from the Settings screen

1. Swipe up on the HOME screen to open  Settings, and select Apps & notifications.
2. Select See all xx apps to show all installed apps.
3. Select the app you want to uninstall from the list of apps, select [Uninstall] in the displayed app's information.
4. A confirmation message [Do you want to uninstall this app?] appears, select [OK].
5. When the message [Uninstallation is complete] is displayed, the app is uninstalled.
