Windows 10 limitation information for VAIO PCs
IMPORTANT: The following compatibility results are based on tests conducted on 30/09/2015, with Windows 10 build number 10240. Since Microsoft is regularly updating Windows 10, the below compatibility information may not be fully up-to-date or accurate after this date.
After you use the "VAIO Update for Windows 10" Upgrade tool and upgrade your computer to Windows 10, certain features (which were previously available on your Sony VAIO PC) may not function as usual or may be removed.
Restrictions on Your Computer
Multi-touch gesture
The click pad, multi-touch gesture function is not supported in Windows 10. The multi-touch gesture setting will be disabled and removed from the VAIO Control Center during the upgrade process. This is applicable to systems that originally came with the multi-touch gesture function.
X-Reality
X-Reality is not supported in Windows 10. The X-reality setting will be disabled and removed from VAIO Control Center during the upgrade process. This is applicable to systems that originally came with the X-Reality feature.
Extended Sheet Battery
On SVP1122/SVP1322 series models, the internal battery and external sheet battery status are swapped in the Windows 10 user interface display. This is a limitation in Windows 10, but does not affect battery functionality.

Sony exclusive apps will not be visible via search or browsing in the Windows Store due to a limitation in Windows 10:

Restrictions on other bundled Apps
CyberLink PowerDVD
On SVT2122/SVF1432/SVF1532 series models, an error message appears when trying to play a Blu-ray Disc movie using PowerDVD with Miracast.
Iolo Program Accelerator
Iolo Program Accelerator is not compatible, and cannot be used in Windows 10.
Intel Experience Center
Intel Experience Center will not be supported in Windows 10 by Intel.
Intel Smart Connect Technology
iSCT does not function correctly in Windows 10 and is uninstalled during the VAIO upgrade process. Systems that originally came with iSCT will have the feature uninstalled during the upgrade process; however, a yellow exclamation mark may appear in "Device Manager" as a side effect.
Windows Store App
The "About" application window may not be displayed correctly due to a limitation in Windows 10.
Note Anytime
On SVD1323 series models, after resuming from sleep, the contents of the note are not displayed. The application will need to be restarted to resolve the issue.
