How to access the Device Manager (Windows 10)

There are five ways to access the Device Manager:

• Method 1: Right-click the Start button or press the Windows Logo + X key combination on the keyboard and, from the list, click to select Device Manager.

• Method 2: On the taskbar, in the Search field next to the Start button, type Device Manager and then press the Enter key.

  

• Method 3:
  1. Click the  (Start) button.
  2. In the Start Menu, click Settings.

     

  3. In the SETTINGS window, click Devices.

     

  4. In the DEVICES screen, click Printers & scanners or Connected devices, and under the Related Settings category, click Device manager.

     

• Method 4:
• • Right-click the Start button or press the Windows Logo + X key combination on the keyboard and, from the list, click Control Panel.

    

  • In the Control Panel window, click Device Manager.

    
    

• Method 5: One really easy way to start the Device Manager in any version of Windows is from the Command Prompt. Just open the Command Prompt and type devmgmt.msc
