What is the digital level gauge?

The digital level gauge indicates whether or not the camera is level in both the horizontal and front-back directions. When the camera is level, the indicator turns green.

NOTES:

• To display the digital level gauge, press the DISP button repeatedly.
• The error of the digital level gauge is larger if the camera is tilted too far forward or backward.
• A tilt of ±1 may still be indicated even if the camera is almost level; this is normal.
