Ich habe diese Soundbar heute bekommen die Lieferung war sehr schnell. Hatte vorher die Soundbar HT- SF 150 auch von Sony fand ich gut und in Ordnung. War sehr überrascht als das Paket auf gemacht habe, die Sony Soundbar HT - S40R kommt sehr elegant rüber. Sie ist auch sehr leicht anzuschließen. Bei der Musik und Filmwiedergabe sind meine Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Ich kann sie empfehlen.

Surround speakers grain issue

I have always liked Sony but I'm very disappointed! Does not matter if I'm using Bluetooth, HDMI or Optical the Bass is mediocre to poor. I get more Bass out of my mini Bluetooth speaker. Otherwise it's okay.

It's good for the money, Sony have dropped the ball on the usual standards, a budget price.. equills budget build, at higher volumes the sound goes dull a little. There's no tone and bass control. And the preset sounds are all the same.. but all in all, its OK, it does the job

Bought this item recently although I do like it i found that given its 600 watt and my older model of this item was 400 watt I expected my new system to be louder and sound better with bass, but my older model sounds a lot better given its 200 Watt less, thats about the only thing I found disappointing as I do have to turn it up more than my older model.

Premetto che ho pagato il Sistema 230 euro durante il Black Friday. Tenendo presente il prezzo che ho pagato, sono più che soddisfatto ma questo sistema (immesso sul mercato nel 2021) ha delle limitazioni oggettive che, nel 2026, non sono trascurabili. La qualità audio è molto buona e non mi aspetterei nulla di diverso da Sony. Il sistema è un 5.1 da 600W senza fronzoli che NON SUPPORTA le codifiche Atmos o DTS X. Il sistema viene definito "senza fili" ma trovo che sia una dichiarazione molto fantasiosa. La Soundbar ed il Sub sono collegati tramite piattina che trasporta alimentazione e segnale audio. Le varie porte di connessione sono sul Sub, compresa l'alimentazione. Scelta infelice dato che, la Soundbar è sempre più vicina al Tv rispetto al Sub e quindi più vicina ad una presa elettrica. Questo comporta l'acquisto di un cavo d'alimentazione più lungo di quello in confezione (è lungo solo 1 mt) e di un cavo HDMI che colleghi il Sub al TV(nel mio caso 4m). Viene pubblicizzato il collegamento via BT tra Tv e Soundbar/Sub ma usandolo, il sistema funziona solo in Stereo (2.0). Volendo si può forzare l'utilizzo di tutti i diffusori ma si avrà lo stesso segnale audio su tutti i canali I diffusori posteriori sono collegati tramite 2 lunghi cavi ad un amplificatore wireless dalle dimensioni generose che va ovviamente collegato alla corrente. I cavi che collegano i 2 diffusori posteriori all'amplificatore non sono removibili/sostituibili ma sono saldati ai diffusori. Quindi l'unica cosa wireless di questo sistema è la connessione tra il Sub (che gestisce tutto il sistema) ed i diffusori posteriori. Connessione comunque, nel mio caso, sempre stabile e precisa I diffusori posteriori non presentano fori filettati su nessun lato ma solo un semplice foro sul retro, nella parte alta, per poter appenderli a parete con un chiodo. Da tenere presente se si vogliono usare dei supporti a pavimento, come nel mio caso, dato che prevedono l'uso di viti filettate. Detto questo, per poco più di 200 euro, il sistema si comporta davvero bene sia durante la visione di film che durante le sessioni di gioco su PS5. Da prendere in considerazione se non si hanno grandi pretese e se è in forte sconto

Très bon produit pour ce prix. De bonnes basses, beaucoup de profondeur dans les mediums. Manque parfois de définition dans les aigus et les voix. J'ai enlevé une étoile car, parfois quand je mets sur pause mon film et que je fait autre chose à côté et quand je reviens le home cinema se mets en veille et je dois éteindre et rallumer la télé pour que tout fonctionne correctement. Je pense qu'il y a certainement un réglage à faire dans le menu du home cinema, mais bon c'est pas forcément intuitif et ergonomique ce "menu". Mis à part ça, produit très bien fini, le système wireless fonctionne à merveille. Je recommande.

This surround system is pretty good. Very easy to set up. The surround speakers connect automatically via Bluetooth. The menue and settings are found across the top of the large Sub speaker and changed using the small remote control handset. The menus and changing things to your prefered settings can be confusing and frustrating initially, but once you get the hang of it it's easy enough. My only complaint is the excessive bass output. This seems to be a modern trend sadly. I love a bit of bass as much as the next guy but the sound can be utterly drowned in bass sadly, even with the Sub speaker turned right down. I'd say it's a bit overpriced for what it does, but you pay for the Sony brand I guess. Overall I like it though. For films it works brilliantly and gives you an impressive imersive cinema experience. For TV I turn the back speakers off. For music it can be frustrating depending on your chosen genre. Brilliant for modern electronic music. Not so great for rock. Classical music is lost and the clarity in mid/upper frequencies is awful. A mixed review then, but plenty to like.

i brought this product two months ago now and it has been an overwhelming improvement to my home cinema experience i do belive this is a great entry pice of kit that makes such a difference with Dolby atoms sound you should make sure however that your tv is compatible with Dolby sound systems I learnt this the hard way but even if its not the change is surprisingly different listening to it now compared to when i turn it off the gap is significant

Quick and easy to set up, especially with ARC feature and wireless surround speakers. But that’s where the good bit ends. The 5 individual speakers are so tiny they can only output the really thin high frequency audio. The Sub then try’s to compensate so the sound is really thick like it’s all inside a box. I proved this by replacing speakers, the sound came to life and the sub could be left to handle the low end punchy audio. As an all in one and the sub being central control unit is very useful and helps remove big amps or blueray amps. Would I buy again no… but it’s adaptable if you have spare speakers

Easy to set up, but I can't understand why it has a menu button, nothing appears on the screen. That does not change the quality of the building and sound. I'm very pleased.

The blue light discount was a well appreciated extra. The soundbar is awesome. Especially with the two rear speakers making a full dound experience. They also help when watching TV at night with the sound down. The wireless connection made installation so simple. Also the soundbar turns on/off and volume with the tv remote. Good specification for most users.

In my case I couldn't use eARC hdmi port because it was already in use but optical port did the trick. Very good sound if you have a proper 5.1 content.

J'apprécie le renforcement du son et sa diffusion, mais je suis déçu par rapport à la publicité qui parle de satellites arrières sans fil, certes par rapport à l'avant, mais des longueurs de fils à gérer à l'arrière... La norme dolby 5.1 est obsolète, même si elle est souvent reconnue. Le rapport qualité prix est très bon.
