Getting started
Using your earbuds for the first time
The first time you turn on the earbuds, they will automatically enter pairing mode. After that, there are three ways to pair your WF-C710N to your device.
Google Fast Pair
Just put your earbuds into pairing mode near your Android phone and Fast Pair will connect them with a single tap
Swift Pair
Pop-up pairing guidance appears on nearby Windows 11 or Windows 10 devices when pairing mode is selected.
Manual pairing
The first time you take these earbuds out of the case, they will automatically enter pairing mode. Next time you want to pair, put the earbuds in the case but leave the lid open, then hold the pairing button on the back of the case until the indicator flashes blue.

Get the most from your WF-C710N with the Sony | Sound Connect app
Download the app to adjust settings, including Multipoint Connection, Ambient Sound mode, and more. Lots of the settings we mention on this page can be tailored to your preferences using Sound Connect.
To have access to all the functions available to you within the app, you will be required to sign in or create an account.
How to fit
Secure the best fit for your WF-C710N
In the Sony | Sound Connect app you can check your wearing condition and find the optimal earbud tips for the best possible sound quality. Go to “System”, then select “Check wearing condition and earbud tips” to perform the test.
Multipoint Connection
Connect your earbuds to two Bluetooth® devices simultaneously, so you can wait for an incoming call on one device while listening to music on the other.

Noise Cancelling
WF-C710N combine excellent Noise Cancelling with an Ambient Sound mode, which, when activated, automatically adjusts to wherever you are so you stay aware of your surroundings
Ambient Sound Mode
Ambient Sound mode enables WF-C710N to capture more of the ambient sound around you thanks to the external and internal microphones, so you can enjoy a natural listening experience while staying connected to your environment.
How to get started with Ambient Sound mode
In the Sony | Sound Connect app, go to “Sound” and select the right arrow next to “Ambient Sound Control”.
Switch on Ambient Sound if it isn’t already on – you can adjust the noise detection sensitivity in 20 levels.
You can also use the “Focus on Voice” setting to chat without removing your earbuds.
Adaptive Sound Control
Adaptive Sound Control is a smart function that detects what is happening around you and adjusts Noise Cancelling and Ambient Sound settings for the ideal listening experience.
How to start and adjust Adaptive Sound Control
Just open the Sony | Sound Connect app and switch it on to use its default detection mode.
If you want to customize it even further, you can adjust Noise Cancelling or External Sound Capture preference through the app.
Optimise the switching for you
This feature learns how you use the earbuds while using Adaptive Sound Control and switches settings at an optimal time.
Just enable this setting and follow the on-screen prompt to sign into your Sony | Sound Connect app.

Quick Access
Quick Access to your favourite music
With Quick Access, you can configure your WF-C710N to resume Spotify music playback or Endel personalised soundscapes with two or three taps – no need to touch your smartphone.
In the "System" menu, find the "Quick Access" setting. Select the cog icon to adjust what the Quick Access button does. E.g. Press the button three times to resume Spotify.
Voice Control
Control with your voice
You can control the WF-C710N with your voice - just say “Hey Headphones” followed by one of the voice commands to listen to music, connect with friends, or get notifications.
Firmware update
Keep your headphones up-to-date with the latest firmware releases.
Latest firmware update
When using the Sony | Sound Connect app, it will let you know when there is a new update to download.
Make sure you have the latest firmware updated on your headphones so any bug fixes and improvements will be applied.
