Getting Started
Using your speaker for the first time
There are several ways to pair your speaker to your devices
Bluetooth Fast Pair
In one tab, the speaker enables quick, effortless Bluetooth pairing with your Android and iOS devices.
Multipoint Connection
The speaker can be paired with two Bluetooth devices at the same time, so you can switch between listening to audio from different devices. Just touch and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker for about 2 seconds and pair with the second device.
Party Connect & Stereo Pair
Party Connect can link up to 100 compatible Sony speakers to synchronise music and lighting, and you can also connect two matching speakers to activate stereo sound with Stereo Pair.
Speakers can be added by simply clicking the relevant buttons on ULT FIELD 3.
Sony | Sound Connect app
With the Sony | Sound Connect app, you can personalise your sound settings and lighting. You can even keep track of your recent listening history.
Sound Features
ULT POWER SOUND
The ULT Button provides signature ULT POWER SOUND quality to the listener, enhancing the music with powerful bass.
To activate the ULT mode, push the ULT Button on top of ULT FIELD 3. A notification sound will play when the setting is changed, and the ULT Button will light up.
You can adjust or turn on/off the notification sound using the Sony | Sound Connect app, or by pressing and holding the ULT Button and the – (Volume) button for about 2 seconds.
7-band Equaliser
With the Sony | Sound Connect app, you can customise the sound setting via a 7-band Equaliser to match your taste.
You can also select ULT POWER SOUND or OFF on the equaliser setting screen.
USB Charging
The ULT FIELD 3 can be used as a portable powerbank, letting you charge your device via a USB Type-C® port to keep the tunes going.
Hands-free calls
You can answer a call by pressing the call button on the ULT FIELD 5. The built-in microphone lets you enjoy clear hands-free calling via your speaker.
Detachable shoulder strap
The ULT FIELD 3 comes with a detachable shoulder strap for ultimate convenience.
To attach the strap, lift and rotate the storage cap to reveal the attachment loops, then you can slide the hooks of the shoulder strap through the loops until they are securely fastened.
