Each Sony Professional Media is unique and warranties may differ between formats. But what always remains constant is the total lifetime support that Sony has been providing for decades to its customers. Our service continues long beyond the warranty period - unlimited support that lasts as long as you’re using the media.

Warranty Information

Sony offers a warranty against manufacturing defects on all professional media products. This covers you against any defect in workmanship or material during the entire life of the product. If the media fails due to the way it was made, we’ll replace it free, for life.

In addition, our European Customer Service can analyse any problems you may face with your media and determine whether the source of the problem is drive or media related. If it’s a media issue and due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace the product free, for life. This guarantee applies in EEA countries, Russia, & Turkey.

Sony will not warrant the data on the media or any situation arising from a failed media product. Our guarantee also won’t cover any damage or defect due to an accident, misuse, abuse or neglect. Please consult the product ‘Recommendations for Use’ and always keep the original copy of your purchase receipt for any future guarantee claim.
