Before you start
- Some TV models cannot output sound from both the headphones and the TV speakers at the same time. For details, refer to the manual of your TV.
How to set up your TV
Android TV 2020-2018 models
- 2020 models: XH80, XH81, XH85, XH91, XH90, XH92, XH95 (49/85), XH95 (55/65/75), ZH8, A8 series
- 2019 models: AG9, XG85, 8G (55/65/75/85), XG95, ZG9 series
- 2018 models: AF9, ZF9 series
To output sound from both the TV speakers and an audio device: Connect your audio device to the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal.
If you connect the device to the TV headphone jack, the HDMI terminals, or via Bluetooth, the TV cannot output sound from both the TV speakers and the audio device at the same time.
To output sound from both the headphones and a Sound Bar: Connect your headphones to the TV headphone jack and your Sound Bar to the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal.
If you connect the Sound Bar to the HDMI terminals or via Bluetooth, the TV cannot output sound from both the headphones and the Sound Bar at the same time.
Other Android TV models
- Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select
Settings. - The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Display & Sound — Audio output.
- Select Sound.
- Select Headphone/Audio out.
- Select Audio out (Fixed).
- On the Remote control, press the BACK button.
- Select Headphone speaker link.
NOTE: If Headphone speaker link is not shown, select Audio to both TV speakers & other device to enable it and skip step 8. - Select Speakers on.
For other TV models
NOTE: The following steps are an example. For more details, refer to the manual of your TV.
- Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Preferences or System Settings.
- Select Setup.
- Select AV Setup.
- Select Headphone/Audio out.
- Select Audio out.
- Press the BACK or RETURN button to go back to AV Setup.
- Select Audio out.
- Select Fixed.
