(Wireless) Connection diagnosis results are displayed as Not accessible (or Failed), Failed, Failed
After performing a network diagnosis, the TV may not connect to the Internet and the network diagnosis result may appear as:
- Wireless Device: Failed
- Local Access: Failed
- Internet Access: Failed
The router is not connected to the TV
Connecting your TV to the network
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue. Because each if these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, check the network connection status after completing each step:
For TVs released in 2014:
- Check the built-in wireless function is activated.
- Select Settings.
- Select Network.
- Select Built-in Wi-Fi.
- Select On.
- Perform a power reset on the TV.
For Android TVs:
- Make sure that the built-in wireless function is activated.
- Press the Home button.
- Select Settings.
- In the Settings screen, under NETWORK & ACCESSORIES, select Network.
- Select Advance settings.
- Select Built-in Wi-Fi.
- Select On.
- Perform a power reset on the Android TV.
Try a router reset.
- Reset all of the network equipment, such as modem and router, by turning htem off and unplugging them for 2 minutes.
- Reconnect the power cords starting with the modem, and then router.
- Connect the TV power cord and turn on the power supply, and then perform the connection diagnosis.
Using the USB wireless LAN adapter UWA-BR100:
- Disconnect UWA-BR100 from the TV.
- Perform a power reset on the TV.
- Make sure the USB port of the TV is working by connecting another USB storage device.
NOTE: If it is determined that the USB port of the TV is not working, service may be required. - Connect UWA-BR100 to the TV.
- Perform the network diagnosis.
If the issue is still unresolved, your UWA-BR100 may need to be replaced.
