How to confirm whether or not you have a Sony account

    Follow the steps below if during the process of migrating to a Sony account you need to confirm whether or not you already have a Sony account.
    1. Try signing in to the following services to see if you can use them.
      • PlayStation Network
      • Creators' Cloud membership
      I can sign in.
      You already have a Sony account. Sign in to the services you use with the same ID and password.
      I cannot sign in, or I have not been using the services.
      Go to step 2.
    2. Sign in to the service and check your account. If you use multiple services, check all of the services for which you are unsure which account you are using.

      Check the applicable services: Linking accounts

      I have been using a Sony account.
      Sign in to the services you use with the same ID and password.
      I have not been using a Sony account, or I have not been using the services.
      You do not have a Sony account. Create a new Sony account and sign in to it.
      I don't know if I was using a Sony account.
      Go to the Sony account sign-in screen and enter your email address and any password that comes to mind.
      • If you can sign in, you have a Sony account.
      • If you cannot sign in, follow the instructions on the screen to create a new account.
