(Wireless) Connection diagnosis results are displayed as Not accessible (or Failed), Failed, Failed

    After performing a network diagnosis, the TV may not connect to the Internet and the network diagnosis result may appear as:

    • Wireless Device: Failed
    • Local Access: Failed
    • Internet Access: Failed

    The router is not connected to the TV


    Connecting your TV to the network

    Follow the steps below to resolve the issue. Because each if these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, check the network connection status after completing each step:

    For TVs released in 2014:

    1. Check the built-in wireless function is activated.
      1. Select Settings.
      2. Select Network.
      3. Select Built-in Wi-Fi.
      4. Select On.
    2. Perform a power reset  on the TV.

    For Android TVs:

    1. Make sure that the built-in wireless function is activated.
      1. Press the Home button.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. In the Settings screen, under NETWORK & ACCESSORIES, select Network.
      4. Select Advance settings.
      5. Select Built-in Wi-Fi.
      6. Select On.
    2. Perform a  power reset on the Android TV.

    Try a router reset.

    1. Reset all of the network equipment, such as modem and router, by turning htem off and unplugging them for 2 minutes.
    2. Reconnect the power cords starting with the modem, and then router.
    3. Connect the TV power cord and turn on the power supply, and then perform the connection diagnosis.

    Using the USB wireless LAN adapter UWA-BR100:

    1. Disconnect UWA-BR100 from the TV.
    2. Perform a power reset  on the TV.
    3. Make sure the USB port of the TV is working by connecting another USB storage device.
      NOTE: If it is determined that the USB port of the TV is not working, service may be required.
    4. Connect UWA-BR100 to the TV.
    5. Perform the network diagnosis.

    If the issue is still unresolved, your UWA-BR100 may need to be replaced.
