Dual Audio - TV Speakers & Headphones

    Transcript

Here's how you can get audio out of your Bluetooth headphones and your Sony TV's speakers at the same time.

First, we'll need to pair your Bluetooth headphones with your TV. In this example, I'll be using the WH-1000XM5’s, but these steps may differ slightly depending on the headphones that you are using.

Hold the power button on the headphones for 7 seconds. This will put them into pairing mode. Then open the quick settings menu by pressing the quick settings button on your remote and navigate to Bluetooth. Make sure Bluetooth is switched on and you should see them in the list.

Select your headphones from this list and then select pair. Once you've connected your headphones with Bluetooth, your TV will default to sending audio to your headphones rather than your TV's speakers.

So now we just need to also let the TV know that we want audio from the speakers as well. To do this, we're going to navigate to the quick settings menu by hitting the quick settings button on the remote, then navigating to audio output and then change the speakers setting from off to TV speakers.

Now your TV should play audio through both your headphones and your TV's speakers at the same time. You can even adjust the volume individually so that everyone can have a comfortable listening experience.

If you have any more questions about your Sony TV or connecting headphones, please navigate to the Sony support website for more information.
