Before you start
- The reset method differs depending on your Soundbar model. Refer to your manual for model-specific information.
- Settings return to their initial status after a reset. Settings such as volume, function, sound settings and/or personal information stored on the system may be changed.
Reset your Soundbar
Open the expandable section below that corresponds to your Soundbar model.
HT-S100F/SF150
- Press and hold + (volume up) button,
(power) button, and
(input select) button on the unit for more than 5 seconds to reset the system. - Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), then plug it back in.
HT-S200F/SF200/SF201/S350/SD35/X8500/X9000F/XF9000/Z9F/ZF9
- Press and hold the
(power)and - (volume down) button on the Soundbar for more than 5 seconds. - Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), then plug it back in.
HT-G700/S400/SC40/SD40
- Press and hold the
(power)and - (volume down) button on the Soundbar for more than 5 seconds. - Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), then plug it back in.
HT-S20R/40R
- Press the MENU button on the remote control.
- Select RESET by pressing the ↑ (upper) or ↓ (lower) button.
- When ALL RESET appears on the front panel display, press the ENTER button. The system settings will then return to the factory default.
HT-A7000/A9
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select Setup → Advanced Settings.
- Select Resetting.
- Select the menu item you want to reset.
- Select Start.
If you cannot perform resetting using the Home Menu:
- HT-A9: Press and hold the
(power) button on the control box for more than 10 seconds. - HT-A7000: Press and hold the
(power) button and - (volume down) button on the bar speaker for more than 5 seconds.
