How to hard reset the tablet
- When the home screen is displayed, tap Apps & Widgets in the top right corner.
- Tap Settings and then Backup & reset.
- Enable the restore options you require, e.g. Back up my data and Automatic restore.
- Tap Factory data reset.
- Ensure that you have details such as your Google account, your wireless network and similar settings recorded elsewhere before you proceed.
- Tap Reset tablet to continue.
- Tap Erase everything to confirm that you are aware data will be deleted.
- After a few seconds, the tablet will shutdown.
- Follow the start-up wizard.
- Visit the Play Store to reinstall the apps you still want to use.
