How to use the diagnose and repair tool to troubleshoot a failed network or Internet connection

    Follow these steps to access and use the Windows Network Diagnostics tool to troubleshoot a failed network or Internet connection.

    1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
    2. In the Control Panel window, click Network and Internet.
    3. In the Network and Internet window, click Network and Sharing Centre.
    4. In the Network and Sharing Centre window, under Tasks, click Diagnose and Repair.
    5. Follow the suggestions in the Windows Network Diagnostics window to repair the failed network or Internet connection.
