What is Windows Update and where is it located?

Windows Update is a utility created by Microsoft that allows the operating system to receive software updates to resolve specific issues.  Below are the steps to check for updates:

1. Display the Charms menu by placing the cursor on the top right hand corner or bottom right hand corner
2. Select “Settings”
3. Select “Change PC settings”
4. Select “Windows Update”
5. Select “Check for updates now”
