Install

ATI® Graphics Display Driver 8.371.0.0
This update resolves an issue where some applications may stop responding when the User Account Control dialog box is shown.
1. Download this file and save it to a download directory (note this directory for later reference.)
2. Close all running programs.
3. Click Start, Control Panel, Programs, Programs and Feature.
4. Double-click "ATI Catalyst Install manager"
5. Click "Next" and choose "Express Uninstall ALL ATI Software".
6. Click "Next" and click "Continue" at the User Account dialog box.
7. Click "Remove" to uninstall the existing software.
8. Click "Finish" when the un - installation is completed.
9. Open Device Manager: click Start > type (without quotes) "device manager" in the Start Search box > press Enter.)
10. Expand "Display adapter".
11. Right-click "ATI Mobility Radeon X2300" and choose "Uninstall".
12. Check "Delete the driver software for this device" and click "OK".
13. Click "OK" to restart the computer.
14. Wait until the computer has finished starting ad click "Cancel" at the "Found New Hardware" Wizard.
15. Go to the download directory and double-click "ATDVID-01551400-UN.exe".
16. Click "Continue" at the User Account dialog box.
17. The driver installation starts.
18. Wait about 5 minutes while the Wizard installs the new software.
19. Restart the computer when the installation is completed.
To verify the installation is successful:
1. Open Device Manager > expand Display adapters > double-click ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 > click Driver tab.
2. Driver Date is: 2007/04/24 (Y/M/D).
3. Driver Version is: 8.371.0.0.
4. Digital Signature is: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher.
