1. Bookstore

In what countries are the Sony bookstores or Sony partner bookstores available?

Sony operates Reader Store in the US, Canada, Japan and the UK.
Partner bookstores are available in The Netherlands (BOL.COM), France (CHAPITRE) and Germany (Libri).

Find contact details, support information and opening hours on the contact page.

Please note that the stores are available to residents of the mentioned countries only.

Why can't I access a bookstore outside the designated country?

All paid-for content on Reader Store is subject to copyright and as part of the agreement to sell we are restricting sales to residents with a local payment card.

2. Account and Registration

Can I register my Reader device with more than one bookstore account?

Your Reader device can only be associated with one bookstore account at any one time. This will also ensure that all of your eBooks can be accessed in the one library.

The first time that you plug-in your Reader to your PC or Mac, your device will automatically register itself with your ID, when Reader for PC / Mac is running on this machine. This ensures that the books you buy will display correctly on your Reader.

How do I manage my account details (such as email address, password and marketing preferences)?

Contact your local bookstore support for details on account and registration management.
