Intel AppUp link in VAIO Gate not working

Sony bundles a voucher with the listed units allowing you to download some free applications from the Intel AppUp store. The AppUp store can be reached through the Metro interface, the taskbar and also in VAIO Gate. 

On the voucher Sony advises to access the Intel AppUp via VAIO Gate.

Currently, if you try to access through VAIO Gate, you get an error message telling to contact Support (with a hyperlink to the Intel support pages). Through Metro interface and taskbar the problem does not appear.

Solution

An update will be launched at on sales date for these models through Vaio Update, alternatively you can use the AppUp from Metro or taskbar.
