How to set up the Parental lock PIN
Configure the parental lock settings for broadcasts, streaming channels and other items. To set up Parental controls, please follow the steps below:
- Open the
Settings screen. How to access Settings
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select System — Parental controls — Change PIN.
- Select Watching TV — Parental controls — PIN Code.

How to set up the Restricted Profile (only for Android TV models)
This function only restricts access to the app or content specified; it doesn't limit content based on the rating. This would need to be controlled through the Parental lock function in the TV menu and app settings. A PIN code is required to exit the Restricted profile mode or delete information from your profile while not in the Restricted profile mode. If you forget your Restricted Profile PIN code, you will need to perform a factory data reset to reset the PIN.
- If setting up your first PIN
- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- Select
Settings.
- Select Device Preferences — Security & restrictions — Create restricted profile.
- Set your desired 4-digit PIN code.
- If you have already set up a PIN
- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- Select
Settings.
- Select Device Preferences — Security & restrictions — Enter restricted profile.
