4K Netflix videos are displayed in 2K when using Bluetooth headphones or an audio device

    If 4K Netflix videos are displayed in 2K when using Bluetooth headphones or audio devices, follow the instructions according to your television model.

    • For A9F_AF9, Z9F_ZF9, Z9G_ZG9, A9G_AG9, XG95_X95G, XG85_X85G_U8G (55, 65, 75, 85) series: To resolve this issue, please update the system software to the most recent version. Downloads are posted on your model support page.

      Note: If updating the system software is not possible for some reason, follow the Temporary solution below.
    • For other models: This issue will be resolved by a future system software update. Please perform the system software update once it is available. For more information, refer to the How to perform a software update article.
      Note: Until the software update becomes available, follow the Temporary solution below.

    Temporary solution

    • To watch Netflix videos in 4K, disconnect the Bluetooth audio device or use a wired connection. If a Bluetooth (A2DP) device is connected, 4K Netflix videos will not be displayed in 4K before performing the system software update referenced above.
