When using an Xperia smartphone running Android 5.x or later via the USB-B port, the device is never recognised when the input is switched to USB-B.
Connection settings must be performed on the Xperia every time the input is switched to USB-B.
Due to the restrictions on Android 5.x or later, connection settings must always be performed on the Xperia before selecting USB-B and playing back music.
Perform the following connection settings on the Xperia, while it is connected to the USB-B port.
- Select Settings.
- Select Xperia Connectivity.
- Select USB Connectivity.
- Select Detect USB device.
