Should I be concerned about the "USB Cnctd. (MTP) The Timer and Alarm will not function." message?
No, it's nothing to worry about. This is the normal message the WALKMAN displays when connected via USB to a computer.
The intent of the message is to let you know that while the unit is connected to the computer, you will not be able to operate it, and features such as the Timer or Alarm will not work until you disconnect it from the computer.
