Why does the message “Could not shoot 3D panorama, Move the camera straight in the direction of the arrow” appear on-screen and images cannot be taken?
When using a zoom lens at a telephoto position, a long focal length makes the angle of view narrower, thus a slight tilt or shake of the hand or camera may interrupt a sequence of shooting. Shooting at a wide angle is recommended.
Tips for shooting a 3D panoramic image
Pan the camera in as small arc at a constant speed in the direction indicated on the LCD screen, taking the following points into account. You should pan at about half speed of that in normal sweep panorama shooting.
