Auf der Suche nach einem wertig verarbeiteten und kostengünstigen Objektiv bin ich auf das FE85 1.8 gestossen. Zahlreiche Bewertungen anderer Nutzer sprachen dafür. Ich habe es nicht bereut. Preis-Leistung geht nicht besser. Teilweise Metall fühlt es sich super an. Die optischen Leistungen überzeugen. Bereits bei Offenblemde unglaublich scharf. Mehr Lichtstärke bzw. Freistellung empfinde ich als sinnfrei - was soll ich mit Bildern eines Hundes, bei dem die Augen scharf, die Schnauze und die Ohren unscharf sind - was für ein unnötiger Wahn nach Lichtstärke, wenn dann sowieso meist abgeblendet werden muß und ein vernünftiges Foto zu erhalten.

Perfetto per i ritratti ad una media distanza dai soggetti, utile anche in condizioni di scarsa luce grazie alla sua apertura di 1.8 che permette di avere ottimi scatti evitando di alzare gli iso e senza dover allungare i tempi di scatto. Das Objektiv macht einen wunderschönen Look. Ich habe es mit einem günstigeren 75mm verglichen und zwischen dem Bokeh liegen Welten. Ich nutze es an einer Sony A6400 vor allem für Portraits. Ich mag eine etwas längere Brennweite lieber als die üblichen 50mm. Die Bilder sind knackscharf, der Unterschied zum Kitobjektiv bemerkenswert. Die Haptik und Verarbeitung wirken hochwertig, der Autofokus ist blitzschnell. Einziger, deutlicher Nachteil: Es gibt keine Bildstabilisierung. Wenn man das Objektiv wie ich an einer unstabilisierten Kamera nutzt, sollte man sich im Klaren sein, dass alles unter 1/300tel frei Hand schon kritisch werden kann, je nachdem wie ruhig die eigenen Hände sind. Ich habe das Objektiv für 399€ im Angebot gefunden und nochmal 60€ Rabatt bekommen, weil die Gegenlichtblende gefehlt hat. Für so einen Preis ein No Brainer und bezüglich Preis-Leistung unschlagbar.

Das Sony 85 mm f1.8 hat keinen Stabilisator und keinen Blendenring. Es ist nicht gegen Spritzwasser geschützt. Aber es ist klein, leicht und hat einen Knopf, auf den man z.B. den Augenautofokus legen kann.

Habe das Objektiv nun schon ein halbes Jahr und verwende es an der A7IV. Macht zusammen richtig Spaß! Für Portraits verwende ich es auch, aber hauptsächlich für die Sach- und Landschaftsfotografie in Verbindung mit einem Polfilter. In beiden Bereichen brauche ich die Schärfe und den sehr guten Kontrast. In der Sachfotografie kommt die Verzerrungsfreiheit und das kontrolieren der Reflektionen mit dem Polfilter hinzu. Auch wenn es "nur" ein "G" ist, ist diese Objektiv eine Perle im FE-Objektivsortiment. Für einige cromatische Aberationen gibt es Programme. In BW ist das eh kein Problem und eher förderlich.

Confrontato con il ben più caro FE 85/1,4 GM ha retto alla grande. Nitidezza e sfocato a tutta apertura di gran classe ed eleganza. Ottica anche sufficientemente compatta e non troppo cara. Se non si necessita a tutti i costi di un terzo di diaframma in più l’85/1,8 é sicuramente da preferire anche perché nelle foto vere i risultati sono praticamente gli stessi.

Sehr scharfes Objektiv auch bei Offenblende. Entscheidend ist natürlich auch der - für ein Vollformat-Objektiv - attraktive Preis. Und mit 130mm an der a6600 eine interssante Brennweite. Mit ebenso hervorragender Schärfe bei Offenblende. Pixelpeeper werden die chrom. Aberrationen in den Ecken bemängeln. Doch die lassen sich in Post beheben.

It’s a decent lens and the weight is good. But boy do you have to watch out for CA. Which is absolutely abysmal with this lens. It’s generally overpriced imo. First party you don’t have too many options.

Sono soddisfatto dell'obiettivo che utilizzo prevalentemente per ritratti di viso o mezzo busto (sono essenzialmente un videomaker, ma questo obiettivo è consigliato per foto). Costruzione in metallo, al tatto trasmette una buona qualità nell'insieme. Non è un GM, per cui a livello di nitidezza lascia qualcosa sul campo, ma è comunque ottima. Pecca piuttosto un bel pò nella messa a fuoco per il video, ma l'ho acquistato per fare foto. Nel video, uso il 35 1.8 Sony o il 24-105 f4 sempre Sony. Lo sfocato delle immagini è più che buono, secondo al Sony 135 che ha un altro prezzo. Consiglio +++++

Whilst all the publicity and lens reviews attention seems to be on the faster f1.4 lenses for the Sony FE Alpha system, this f1.8 lens is a gem and much more easy to handle due to its compact size and low weight when moving around taking portrait, sports or street photographs. The difference between f1.4 and f1.8 isn't that significant with modern camera sensors that can handle low light situations, whilst the images captured are very similar, so Sony is to be applauded for keeping an f1.8 85mm lens in its range - it would be great if it does the same for all its lenses (pro 1.8 versions of all its key focal lengths) as an original reason for going mirror-less was to save weight and size.

Es un objetivo excelente en términos de calidad/precio. Para mi un indispensable en mi equipo ya que los retratos son un pilar fundamental en mi negocio. La calidad de imagen es buena, aunque en ocasiones tiene demasiada aberración cromática para mi gusto, como en situaciones de contraluz o similares. Buena construcción en general. Se siente muy resistente en la mano. El anillo de enfoque metálico se agradece. Silencioso y muy bueno incluso en vídeo. Bokeh excelente.

After moving to Sony from Nikon Z, this FE85mm lens was my first purchase and boy oh boy its pin sharp, along with the surperb eye AF on Sony cameras its a win win. Nice weight to the lens and the focus hold button can be reprogrammed for whatever you want ( i changed it to eye AF ) Fantastic weight, fantastic sharpness, fantastic price.. 10/10
