Notes on using 8-cm DVD discs:
Sony strongly recommends the use of 8-cm DVD discs from Sony and/or other compatible 8-cm DVD discs, which are provided with a packaging stating the compatibility with Sony DVD Camcorder. When other DVD's are used, Sony can not ensure an error-free recording.
Possible symptoms when using non-compatible 8-cm DVD-R's/-RW's:
- Not possible to record
- Not possible to playback the recordings
- Hanging picture and/or sound
- Errors in recording
- Not possible to eject the DVD
