In case your tablet device does not respond or does not behave as expected
If your "Sony Tablet" is frozen or if it behaves strangely, please select one of the options below, based on how your tablet device currently reacts, to solve your problem.
Make sure the Tablet is connected to its power supply and remove any device connected to the tablet device,
such as computer, camera, SD memory card and press the power button located on the right side of the tablet.
If the tablet does not turn on, a repair may be necessary. Please contact us .
Turn the tablet device off. Press and hold the power button until a list appears.

The confirmation screen appears

Tap OK . The tablet device will automatically turn off in a few seconds

To avoid losing unsaved data or causing your tablet device to malfunction, be sure to shut down your tablet device properly as described above.
If you cannot shut down your tablet device, press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds to force it to shut down.
If you cannot force your tablet device to shut down, press the reset button (hole). Insert a pin or other slim object into the reset button. You will be able to force your tablet device to shut down.

Pressing the reset button (hole) will not revert settings to factory default.

If you press the reset button (hole) and turn off your tablet device, unsaved data will be lost.
This procedure works if your "Sony Tablet" still responds. Please proceed as follows.

All your data stored in the tablet device will be deleted.

Turn the tablet device on. When the Home screen is displayed, tap Apps

Then, tap settings

Tap Privacy and check the restore options you would like to choose, then tap Factory data reset .

Tap Erase everything to confirm.

After a few seconds, the tablet device will shutdown automatically.
