• Getting started with your Sony Tablet / First Steps

In case you forgot your screen unlock pattern or password or pin code

Make sure that you are in the range of any Wi-Fi network that was previously registered by your tablet device.
Try to unlock your screen up to five times. After five unsuccessful attempts, a Google page will be displayed and ask you to enter your Google account details and your password. After entering the requested details, the tablet device will be unlocked.
We advise you to register a new pattern or change the way your "Sony Tablet" will be locked.

1. Tap Apps .

2. Then, tap settings

3. Tap Location&Security , and then Configure lock screen .

4. Choose any of the options provided:

   • Off to disable the lock feature.

   • Not secure to be able to unlock the screen with no security setting.

   • Pattern to enter a new pattern.

   • PIN or Password.
