The UP-D77MD is an A4/Letter size Dye-sub Colour printer with an integrated DICOM interface. This is leading to not only better visualisation of data by 3D rendering (CT), but also more precise diagnosis capability (NM). Most of the patient image data is handled in the DICOM format and distributed over a network infrastructure. The UP-D77MD is designed to be connected over DICOM directly to medical imaging modalities as well as to a broader DICOM network including HIS (Hospital Information Systems) and PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System).
