XC-HR50

Small light-weight monochrome analogue double-speed progressive scan machine vision video camera (1/3-type PS CCD).

The XC-HR50 can capture high quality, full frame images at 60 frames/s. In addition, by reducing the number of transmitted lines (partial scan), partial images can be captured at an increased speed (up to 240 frames/s). Furthermore, the compact and light-weight body of the XC-HR50 makes it easy to install in space-restricted areas. With high speed imaging in a small body, the XC-HR50 is ideal for demanding applications such as semiconductor production, and high-speed assembly line inspection.

  • New 1/3 type PS CCD built-in:

The XC-HR50 adopts newly developed CCD which supports a double-speed drive. Thanks to square pixels and progressive scan format, it is very suitable for high-speed image processing applications. It realizes image output of VGA size (648(V) x 494 (H)) at a speed of 60 frames per second.

  • Smallest size as progressive scan, double-speed drive camera:

Adopting the similar body to the conventional XC-ES series, the XC-HR50 is the smallest size in this industrial world as a progressive-scan-format and double-speed-drive video camera. Its dimensions are 29(V) x 29(W) x 30(H) mm.

  • High rate function:

By manipulating its vertical transmission pulse width of CCD, it realizes high-rate scanning; normal-speed scanning for effective video output lines, high-speed scanning for ineffective video output lines. Vertical imaging area is narrowed down to the middle range or around, the number of effective video output lines varies depending on frame rate.
Users can freely set the frame rate according to pulse cycle that is output from external.
Using this function, video output at a speed of maximum approx.240 frames per second is possible. In this case, the number of effective video output lines is approx.100 lines.

  • Special mode by external signal input:

The XC-HR50 inherits the following three modes that are incorporated in current models.Restart/ResetExternal trigger : Mode 1 (Non-reset mode)External trigger : Mode 2 (Reset mode)

  • Ideal structure and price for Factory Automation use:

The XC-HR50 follows the cross-sectional shape of conventional FA cameras such as the XC-55 series and ES series, which enables easy installation and replacement into FA machines. All of basic settings are controllable by switches etc. at the rear panel. The connector conforms to the new EIAJ 12-pin assignment, and it can accept a trigger pulse and WEN signal by the new pin arrangement. As for the lens, the XC-HR50 supports generic C-mount lenses. (Recommended lenses are VCL-08YM/12YM/16Y-M/25Y-M/50-M.)The reasonable low-price is one of strong points as well.

  • Lead-free support:

Friendly to environment, the XC-HR50 realizes lead-free constitution on all of soldering places including hand-soldering places.
