Defined and set by the user, these filters set parameters to trigger alarms or perform preset actions if a 'virtual environment' is violated against prescribed conditions.
If an image on a specific camera is of interest, it can be designated as a "Hot Spot" and isolated for display on a secondary or other dedicated monitor.
The layout editor allows for site and floor plans to be graphically customised, and icons can be associated with specific cameras. Even company logos can be added.
Allows for the automated and systematic monitoring of complex locations.
Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras can be remotely controlled over the network.

Bi-directional audio is supported. Incoming audio and outgoing announcements can be played when speakers and microphones are configured

Thumbnail preview with calendar recording including time/date and alarm events with the insertion of comments can all be enabled.
Previously recorded images can be viewed whilst recording continues.

Manual recording means authorised users can initiate a recording at any time for any camera with user defined image quality settings. Scheduled recording ensures any camera or group of cameras can have a recording schedule applied to them with virtually unlimited combinations available. Alarm and pre-alarm recording means images can be automatically recorded immediately before or after triggering external sensors or utilising motion detection functions of Sony cameras.
Promotes easy exchange of data with other applications.
The system administrator can define security levels to manage multiple users.
Allows application developers and system integrators to control this software for use with other programmes e.g. alarm or access control systems.
