Real time quality control and logging of 3D images
The MPES-3DQC1 is a software option for the MPE-200 multi-image processor that enables a broadcaster or a post production company to check the quality of its 3D content in real time. This software is able to log on an XML file all common errors of 3D programmes and provide a detail report on the 3D quality. In a similar way to a video and audio quality check, this software enables content providers to check that the 3D content is matching a minimum standard.

The MPE-200 is a landmark product for Sony. It is a processing platform for Sony’s application software that harnesses the power of Sony’s acclaimed Cell processor. Users can run a variety of image processing applications to create visually enhancing transformations in real time. The unit has multiple HD-SDI inputs and outputs and is controlled via a user interface displayed on a network-connected PC.
