Although the focus on News, Magazine & Sport applications is different to the original XPRI NLE system XPRI NS inherits XPRI's familiar user interface and core technology. This helps ensure XPRI NS is easy-to-use, very stable and highly responsive. A customisable GUI further extends user-friendliness and supports exceptional workstation flexibility.
XPRI NS is a powerful and flexible NLE, supporting mixed editing of Standard Definition/High Defintion, Proxy/High-resolution content, as well as advanced HD operability and superior HD LongGOP editing performance.
XPRI NS is available as an integrated part of SONAPS installations and also in a standalone version.

The original XPRI GUI was designed to be as familiar as possible to experienced editors and was continually refined over a six-year period prior to the launch of XPRI NS.
In addition, the XPRI NS GUI supports easy customisation to support any editing style, with adjustable window size and alignment, button functions and onscreen location (source viewer, master viewer and timeline window).
Each user can save their own individual settings which are loaded each time they log onto the system. This means a single XPRI NS workstation can easily be used by both journalists and craft editors.
