It comes with a large 16.1 megapixel APS-C sensor that captures more of the image coming in through the lens and more light (up to ISO 25600) for expert looking pictures. Combine with more than 10 lenses available for the NEX range and you can create striking foreground and background defocus shots, just like on a DSLR.
