Do you have music on your PC or phone? Wouldn’t it be great if you could listen to it on your Hi-Fi system – without having to mess around with cables? Now you can, thanks to built-in Wi-Fi on a number of Hi-Fi systems from Sony.
Stream tracks from your PC with built-in Wi-Fi
With built-in Wi-Fi, your Hi-Fi and PC can communicate wirelessly over your home network. So you can easily stream all your favourite tunes from your hard drive direct to your Hi-Fi from Sony. It’ll remind you how good they can sound. What’s more, the lack of cables means your Hi-Fi system – and the room it’s in – remain stylish and uncluttered.
Broaden your horizons with Internet radio
Wireless connectivity lets you explore a whole new world of audio content. You can listen to Internet radio, with access to thousands of online stations around the globe. You can also stream music through vTuner online services, which connects your Hi-Fi to a wealth of new sounds and programmes. With a wirelessly connected Hi-Fi, you can listen to so much more, you’ll wonder how you managed without it.
Beam music into different rooms at home
With multi-room technology you can wirelessly beam music into different rooms around the house. Use your Hi-Fi system as the central hub, then put wireless speakers from Sony in the other rooms. Or if you’ve got several different Hi-Fi systems, the Party function lets you stream the same track simultaneously around the house. There’s also a downloadable smartphone app, which lets you use your iPhone or Android smartphone as a remote control for your Hi-Fi. And if wireless doesn’t appeal, you can set up multi-room sound using traditional cables and your DLNA network.
