How Optical SteadyShot Active Mode anti shake works

  • A larger pit correction area on the lens compensates for a wider range of movement – even more than is required to correct normal ‘hand shake’
  • As a result, Optical SteadyShot Active Mode delivers steady, focused footage – even if you’re walking while zooming in or out
  • Optical SteadyShot Active Mode also corrects for hand roll, effectively reducing the impact of camera shake in three directions – up-down, right-left and circular
