BDP-S185 uses just 10 watts of power

For 2011, we’ve been able to cut power consumption in our latest Blu-ray Disc™ Player, the BDP-S185, to just 10 watts – down 47% from the BDP-S370. Plus it can be set to automatically go into standby mode where it uses just 0.3 watts of power, so it’s better for the environment and your pocket.

Blu-ray Disc™ Player cuts CO2 production by 40%

The BDP-S185 is small too, at just 29cm down from 43cm from the BDP-S370 model. This means that CO2 production is cut 40% when shipping the product from our Malaysian factory to our European warehouse in the Netherlands, due to its smaller size and reduced packaging.
