Some VAIO models are equipped with built-in 3G technology, VAIO "Everywair", a WWAN (Wireless Wide Area Network) card which can bring you uninterrupted mobile broadband at up to speeds of 7.2Mbps.

Access e-mails and the internet anywhere at anytime without the need for a wi-fi hotspot. Stay connected and in touch with colleagues, clients and friends wherever you are through Everywair.

VAIO has always been at the forefront of technology. The VAIO Z for example uses lightweight materials in its robust carbon fibre chassis to provide you with the ultimate portable notebook weighing in at just under 1.5 kg.

On some models, VAIO’s light and tough carbon fibre chassis not only looks good, it’s 200% stronger and 30% lighter than conventional materials used in other designs.

Every VAIO includes battery utility software to extend its lifetime and to deliver the best performance increasing time between charges, and reducing the need to replace the batteries.

Exclusive to VAIO is dynamic switching of graphics cards without the need to reboot. On the VAIO Z series, you can flick between the standard Intel card for day to day use, and the high-performance NVIDIA card when you need something dramatic.
