Wobbly images caused by unsteady hands are one of the most common causes of disappointing results. Now with Optical Steady Shot Active Mode you can get blur-free results and dramatically reduced camera shake (even while you’re moving) by up to 10x, compared to conventional image stabilizers.

With the new built-in GPS on your Cyber-shot, your photos are automatically geotagged with the location at which they were shot. So when you connect your Cyber-shot to a PC, you will be able to see on a map exactly where your photos were taken and which way you were facing.

Get the perfect exposure every time

High Dynamic Range solves the problem of shooting scenes with high contrast between dark and light areas by taking two exposures of the image – one overexposed to capture the details in the shadows and one underexposed to capture the details in the brightly lit areas. Your Cyber-shot then automatically blends the two images together to give you the perfect exposure.
