Walk, zoom and shootWobbly images caused by unsteady hands are one of the most common causes of disappointing results. Now with Optical Steady Shot Active Mode you can get blur-free results and dramatically reduced camera shake (even while you’re moving) by up to 10x, compared to conventional image stabilizers.
A map of memoriesWith the new built-in GPS on your Cyber-shot, your photos are automatically geotagged with the location at which they were shot. So when you connect your Cyber-shot to a PC, you will be able to see on a map exactly where your photos were taken and which way you were facing.
Get the perfect exposure every timeHigh Dynamic Range solves the problem of shooting scenes with high contrast between dark and light areas by taking two exposures of the image – one overexposed to capture the details in the shadows and one underexposed to capture the details in the brightly lit areas. Your Cyber-shot then automatically blends the two images together to give you the perfect exposure.

More Cyber-shot features
Automatically detect facesWith automatic Face Detection your Cyber-shot can recognise up to eight faces in each scene, automatically adjusting the focus, exposure, white balance and flash settings to get the best results. It can even distinguish between children and adults.
The perfect self-portraitComposing a good self-portrait can be tricky because it’s difficult to judge where you are in the frame if you’re pointing the camera towards you. Cyber-shot cameras with the new Self-Portrait Timer automatically detect when either you or you and a friend are in the right spot for the perfect portrait. Learn more about self portrait
