Superior Auto helps you capture DSLR quality photos without having to adjust multiple settings. Simply set your Cyber-shot to Superior Auto mode and it takes a burst of multiple frames to combine into one single image with the optimum focus and exposure for higher quality results.

Add background defocus and high contrast to your photos

Easily create beautiful DSLR style photos

Create perfect compositions without the need for expensive lenses or complicated camera settings. Background Defocus allows you to focus on the subject and give photos a natural-looking blur. Just choose from three levels of background blur and your camera will automatically do the rest.

With Cyber-shot it’s easy to capture detail when there’s a high contrast between dark and light areas. High Dynamic Range helps you by taking two shots of the same scene and automatically blending the picture together into one shot with the perfect exposure.
