Organise, edit and share your favourite memories

A calendar makes it easy The calendar mode in your PMB (Picture Motion Browser) software maps your photos to a calendar helping you identify the exact date you took each shot. In the overview your images will appear as a thumbnail on top of each calendar day – you can also click on a single date to see all the images you took on that day.
Spot a face in the crowd You can use your PMB software to pinpoint faces in your photos and search your whole library for images containing that person. Simply click on one shot of the person, click the ‘Face Search’ icon and all images containing that person will be displayed.

Share the memories

PMB software lets you burn images to disc or email pictures and clips to a friend with just a few clicks. Files are automatically compressed before they are sent to keep email attachments smaller. It’s just as easy to upload photos and clips to popular sharing sites such as Picasa™, Flickr™, Facebook™ and YouTube™*.

Get PMB Portable straight from your camera

PMB (Picture Motion Browser) Portable

To make life easier when you’re away from your PC at home, all new 2010 Cyber-shot cameras now come with PMB Portable software built into the camera. PMB Portable is a mini version of PMB which lets you transfer and upload photos without having to install any software. Simply connect your Cyber-shot to any computer (Windows or Mac) and share your photos and video over the web. It’s perfect for holidays or travelling.

Important information

Due to security control specifications enhancements made to some operating systems to block a malicious program from external media such as a USB memory, programs launching from a USB drive, such as PMB Portable, will not be listed anymore on the AutoPlay wizard.
