3D Home Cinema Projectors from Sony have fully integrated 3D technology which uses the High Frame Rate of Motionflow and special Active Shutter 3D glasses (supplied with the projector). 3D Home Cinema Projectors use an infrared signal to synchronise images with the Active Shutter 3D glasses at a high speed precision of 240 frames a second. The result is high quality Full HD 3D images with little ‘ghosting’ or ‘double imaging’ which can be caused by other 3D technologies.

3D glasses from Sony use Active Shutter technology. This means each lens is filled with liquid crystal which closes for a fragment of a second as different pictures are transmitted consecutively to the left and right eye.
