I tried to connect my laptop (VGNFZ21Z) to a flat screen TV using a HDMI(ver:1.4) cable. The connection was easily established and the picture was on the LCD TV straight away, but there was no sound! How do I get sound and vision on my TV rather then just the vision?

Before attaching the cable, I turned on my laptop then then turned on my TV and then attached the cable. I right clicked the sound icon and under sound>playback>I tried to change the setting from PC/Speakers to Digital Output Device HDMI but the latter remained grey shaded and had no effect on selection? How do I select the HDMI as output device?

How do I get audio and video both on my TV from my laptop?
